The Hive of the Mindlashers
A downloadable analog dungeon crawler
This solo paper-and-dice procedural dungeon crawl finds you taken captive by the evil psionic aliens known as the MINDLASHERS. Thrown into a MEMBRANOUS CELL to be turned into a mindless HUSK, you must use your STRENGTH, SKILL, MIND, and even your LUCK if you're going to find your way home.
Battle a dozen different hideous MONSTERS, face CHALLENGES, navigate your way through different SOCIAL and WEIRD encounters. Try not to be ASSIMILATED!
This is a satisfyingly challenging analog game where you get to draw a cool map, roll some dice, and uncover a procedurally-generated dungeon crawl narrative.
Will you survive? Will you end up a HUSK like so many other poor souls? Will you escape...
...The HIVE OF THE MINDLASHERS?

1st character: 1st room; Braineater; died.
2nd character: 1st room; Challenge; Tremors; failed, dropped lantern, died.
3rd character: 10th room (first monster encounter after failing a variety of Social, Challenge, Weird, and Drain effects) Void Stalker, died.
But at least the 3rd one was fun. I like having a goal (escape) to work towards.
one question: Braineater has no damage die, so you gain no XP for fighting one; was this intentional?
Those are some brutal runs! That’s to be expected—- I set out to make a game harder than Abyss. The braineaters don’t give any XP, that was something I noticed while playtesting and kept it in because it fits my idea of them being pesky little creatures.
